The five member Finance Advisory Committee participates in the
analysis of the City's financial future during its annual review
of the Five Year Financial Model prepared by staff. The Finance Advisory Committee also assists the City Council by reviewing other projects that may have
a financial impact on the City. These appointments are non-paying
volunteer positions that require attendance at evening meetings;
appointments generally have terms of office ranging from 2 to 4 years. To qualify for
appointment applicants must be a resident of the City of Rancho
Palos Verdes.
| CONTACTING THE FINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE VIA EMAIL |
The Finance Advisory Committee holds evening meetings as required, generally on Wednesdays at 7p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall. The most effective manner to communicate with the
FAC is to send an e-mail message to FAC@rpv.com
by 5:30 pm on the Thursday before the scheduled meeting. By doing
this, the written comments will be included with the Staff Report
(for agenda items) or with the agenda packet (for non-agenda items),
which the FAC members receive before the scheduled meeting. This
provides the FAC with the opportunity to review the comments before
the next meeting. Written comments or e-mail messages submitted
to the Department after 5:30 pm on Thursday before the meeting will
be distributed to the FAC at the meeting. All e-mail messages sent
to the FAC@rpv.com address are
automatically forwarded to each FAC member's private e-mail address
at the time the message is received at the City.
